More development on the spreads. I've changed the format back to an A size after printing a square mock up, I really didnt feel like the quare format felt like a zine anymore and it wasnt comfartable to look through. I also felt like the coloured stock under half of the photo's really didnt work, I think with a proper pantone matched ink to paper it might be possible to make a really interesting effect but with the resources I have here I don't think it's doable. Instead I'm now looking at printing the photos monotone, to match each of the three covers, the chaos pictures will be red, relativity yellow and quantum mechanics yellow. I've re worked the layout into baseline grids and left a load more white space which I think makes the whole thing work a lot better.
