End Of Year Show Type Tests
I've started to create and collect some more complicated grid patterns to see how the honeycomb idea could be applied with different grids. At first I thought the grids made of squares and triangles that make circles would work really well as the patterns really resemble a mosaic however they create a really and almost cartoon letterform that I'm really not a fan of. The grids that only use one shape work much better to create a structured letterform but there is some degree of experimental grid you can use to make an interesting effect. The biggest challenge is getting right the size of the grid. I need to create a balance between keeping the letterforms of the clarendon typeface and keeping the mosaic effect.
