Archipelago

Me, Ollie and Angus are collaborating to make the Fine Art course's yearbook. The book needs to act both as a yearbook but also a book to compliment the end of year show which is being exhibited in Leeds but also on Brick Lane in London. The idea behind the exhibition is Archipelago (a cluster of small islands) with the idea being that while all the artists are individual in their practices (islands) they are brought together through the course (the sea). I think this is a really nice concept and has the potential to be put across really nicely in a book form. One of the major difficulties is that the budget for the project is extremely small, £800 for 2000 books if we can do it. So we are having to think of ways to cut down the cost of the print run but still include everyone.
