I also retested the letterheads with the screen printed foil, the foil has come out particularly well on this thin uncoated stock I think both the glue and foil sit particularly well on top.
I think that the balance of weight has worked well on this design of letterhead, the heavy stamp of the logo seems to balance out the large scale type of the logo which I think feels quite even.
The foil I have been using is a champagne foil which has a subtle and silky finish but still with a clean shine. I also test a full gold foil but I thought that the result was overpowering ad quite garish, I think that this foil is much more decadent, which fits the brief much more effectively.
