Im starting to put together some of the spreads for the chaos book, I want to use photography combined with very subtle diagram forms as to not make the zine scary but beautiful and friends, it needs to show how aesthetically pleasing science can be, thats what will communicate with the younger people. I'm looking at a lot of existing zine layouts and one part I really like from they is the layout of images, they often seem carelessy placed with a lot of white space around them, and often cross over through the middle of the spread, I really want to keep this element in my zine. Im also trying something interesting with the ink, the pages the are printed in black will be on red paper, and the white pages printed with red ink, I'm not sure how it will look till I do it but it seem like an interesting idea.
